How It Works
For Site Administrators
Setting up the popup feature is incredibly simple:
- Edit your WPForms View in the Views for WPForms editor
- Navigate to the Single Entry settings tab
- Find the Display Type option
- Choose between:
- Page (default) – Opens entry details on a separate page
- Popup – Opens entry details in a modal window
That’s it! Your view is now configured to show entries in a popup.
For Site Visitors
The experience is smooth and intuitive:
- Click any single entry link or linked field in your view
- A modal window instantly appears with the entry details
- View all configured single entry fields in an organized layout
- Print the entry directly from the popup (print button works seamlessly)
- Close the popup by:
- Clicking the × button
- Clicking outside the modal
- Pressing the Escape key
